ORDERING

As per the Licensing Act 1964, it is illegal for anyone under 18 to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse delivery if we have any doubts about this.

We cannot guarantee that all products are available. We will make every effort to provide the best alternative if the ordered wine is unavailable, and we will communicate this before delivery. If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot accept amendments once your order has been dispatched.

PRICING

All prices are listed in pounds sterling and are final. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. While we strive to ensure that the prices on our website are accurate, occasional errors may occur. If we identify a pricing mistake, we will reach out to you to confirm whether you would like to proceed with the order at the correct price or cancel it. We are not obligated to fulfill orders made at the incorrect price.

LAW

All contracts are governed by law and jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.

CLAIMS

Deliveries should be inspected carefully upon arrival. Any issues must be reported within one hour of receiving the item. Please inform us immediately about any missing items or damages. We cannot guarantee credit or replacements unless notified within one hour of delivery. If you do not receive the remainder of your order within three working days of the initial delivery, please contact us. Standard UK deliveries should arrive within three working days of the order date. To the extent permitted by law, the company is not liable for any consequential loss or damage due to incorrect or delayed deliveries.

OWNERSHIP

All wines, spirits, or other goods ordered remain the property of Cork & Co. until full payment is received.

DELIVERIES

If you are not at home when the packages are delivered, the courier will leave a card allowing you to reschedule the delivery. Please contact us if you would like us to arrange the delivery. Note that delivery costs vary based on the value and weight of the package. Cork & Co. is not responsible for temperature conditions during shipping, and their effects on your order. If you are concerned about temperature during shipment, we recommend arranging your order for times with more suitable temperatures, or you may choose to collect the wines in person.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please reach out to us promptly. In most cases, we will be able to offer a refund or exchange. Refunds will be processed within three working days after we receive the returned goods. Items must be returned in the same condition as when they were sent. Please note that if returned items are not in their original condition, a re-delivery fee will apply, and no refund will be issued. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for opened bottles of wine or any remaining cases. Wines and their corks undergo natural processes that can affect product quality, especially for older wines. While we strive to ensure our products are of the highest quality, a small percentage may not meet expectations. We will not accept liability for this. Delivery costs will be deducted from the total order amount unless the return is due to an error on Cork & Co.’s part.

LIMITED LIABILITY

Cork & Co. accepts no liability beyond what is stated in the relevant sections of the Sale of Goods Acts and Distance Selling Regulations. While Cork & Co. takes reasonable care to provide wines that are drinkable and of good quality, it should be noted that all wines and their corks are subject to natural processes that can impact quality. We will not take responsibility for any deterioration of our wines prior to sale.
